New 4D Microgage Receiver

Pinpoint Laser Systems is pleased to carry the new four-axis Microgage Receiver that provides useful laser alignment information for evaluating and correcting machinery alignment problems. The new 4D Microgage Receiver measures two linear axes, X and Y, and their two angular components, yaw and pitch. The two linear axes show how well machinery is aligned along a common centerline and the angular readouts show if parallelism problems are present. The 4D Microgage Receiver is ideal for performing laser alignment on lathes, turning centers, and, spindles, as well as moving linear slides, rams and pistons; injection molding machinery; moving mechanical sub-assemblies; and more. A compact, digital display provides precise linear and angular readings and is easy and intuitive to use.
The Roll Mount Plate

This new Roll Mount is the newest addition to a family of machinery mounts that Pinpoint Laser Systems has specifically developed for precision laser alignment and measuring. We offer mounts with magnetic bases for a secure fit to steel or other ferrous metal machinery components, and mounts with profiled surfaces for machinery and equipment that have profiled features that require alignment. We also offer tapered fixtures and expanding mandrels ideal for centering the Microgage system in bores and tapered extruder barrels for alignment.
The Laser Alignment Disk Receiver

Pinpoint Laser Systems' newest receiver, the “Disk” Receiver, is compact and will fit into small places for bore alignment, checking extruder barrels, shaft bearings, and much more. This laser alignment receiver and the host Laser Microgage 2D are versatile and can be adapted to many industrial measuring and alignment tasks.
The method of operation is simple - a narrow laser alignment beam provides a measuring reference line and this receiver determines the position of a machine or sub-assembly relative to the laser reference beam. The new receiver will operate over a distance of 100 feet or more and deliver a measuring precision of 0.0001 inch; ideal for demanding industrial alignment applications. The Laser Microgage system and this new receiver are well suited for lathe and spindle alignment, checking machine tool runout, roll and web alignment, precision bore alignment, and much more.
The Microgage 2D is easy to use with instructions that show up on the display guiding the operator through their alignment project. Several simple accessories allow for alignment of straightness, runout, parallelism, squareness, roll and web alignment, shaft and bore alignment, flatness measuring, and much more.
The 2-Axis Laser Microgage is a self contained laser alignment unit that operates on batteries for added convenience and portability. All components are machined of solid aluminum with a clean hard anodized coating for wear resistance. A sealed push button keypad and large LCD display make the Microgage 2D easy and convenient to use in demanding industrial environments.
This Microgage system from Pinpoint Laser Systems includes a compact carrying case for transport and storage and is easily carried right out onto the manufacturing floor or for traveling to multiple sites. Options available include a serial and USB interface that connects to a laptop or PC that links to popular spreadsheets for plotting and analyzing data for maintenance records, customer compliance, and other uses.
The Microgage 2D Transparent Receiver

New from Pinpoint Laser Systems is the 2D Transparent Receiver that can be used for the laser alignment of production machinery and equipment. A narrow laser beam provides a measuring reference line that allows the Transparent Receiver to determine the position of a machine or sub-assembly relative to the laser beam. The receiver operates over distances of a few inches to 100 feet and delivers measuring precision of less than 0.0005 inch, making it ideal for demanding industrial laser alignment applications. The Microgage System and Transparent Receiver are well suited for lathe and spindle alignment, checking machine tool rollout, roll and web alignment, precision bore alignment, and other applications.
As the laser moves across the receiver in a vertical or horizontal direction, the display provides a reading of the motions, accurate to 0.0001 inch. This new laser alignment Microgage will operate over a distance of 100 feet with a bright red beam that is quickly adaptable to many industrial applications. Several simple accessories allow for alignment of straightness, runout, parallelism, squareness, roll and web alignment, shaft and bore alignment, flatness measuring, and other measurements.
Pinpoint Laser Systems‚ New 90-Line Square Plane

The New 90-Line Square Plane is ideal for checking squareness and parallelism on production machinery and equipment. Ideal applications include; roll and web alignment, adjusting machine tools, checking press breaks and shears, and other laser alignment applications. The square plane includes the 90-Line Right Angle and Precision 2-Axis Adjustment Mount. This is an ideal product for checking squareness or parallelism in a 3 dimensional envelope.
Pinpoint Laser Systems‚ Capture Software

Pinpoint Laser Systems has introduced a new Computer Interface Module consisting of a USB and RS232c interface and Pinpoint Capture for the Laser Microgage 2D Laser Alignment System. This module can be added or removed from the Microgage at any time by simply disconnecting the interface cable that ties into the back of the Microgage display. The Pinpoint Laser Systems‚ Capture software is easy to load and use for selecting and collecting data. The software lets you scale measurement readings; apply offsets; change units to millimeters, microns, or your own units; and view the readings in different numerical or graphic formats.
