Mory Creighton, General Manager

Mory Creighton has over 25 years experience in business development, marketing and engineering primarily in the mechanical, electrical and optical areas. He began his career in the financial industry and quickly moved to Optra Inc. developing and marketing high precision, commercial laser products for industrial companies and the Federal government.

Mory comes from an entrepreneurial family and always wanted to start a company. In 1992, he founded Pinpoint Laser Systems to design, market and manufacture a broad line of measuring and alignment products that improve the efficiency of manufacturing and address industrial alignment needs. Mory remains actively involved with the company’s growth and the development of new industrial products and markets.

Ken Nelson, Technical Sales & Support Manager

Ken has over 30 years experience in electro-mechanical engineering. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and received hands-on training in electro systems and maintenance. Prior to joining Pinpoint, Ken was Vice President of N&N Manufacturing, a cable and harness manufacturer for the medical industry.

Ken joined Pinpoint in 1998 and works with many Pinpoint customers on their applications and recommending solutions. He is involved with the development of new Pinpoint products and manufacturing systems.

David Fanning, Sales Manager

David has over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and business management in a wide variety of industries. He served in the US Navy for 4 years where he studied electronics and was deployed on the USS Nimitz.

David joined Pinpoint in 2008 and is responsible for all aspects of sales within the company. He travels extensively providing product demonstrations, application discussions and alignment training. His customer interaction in the field has lead to numerous product improvements, as well as, new product ideas.

Cynthia J. Lord, Office and Marketing Manager

Cindy has over 20 years experience in Administration and Marketing and served in various industries prior to joining Pinpoint. She worked 10 years for TNT Express Worldwide, an international airfreight company, in various roles including Office Manager and Regional Data Entry Manager and she served as Manager of Corporate Administration for a car wash training company.

Cindy joined the Pinpoint team in 2005 and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the corporate office, as well as the marketing. She has been the editor of Pinpoint’s newsletter, Straight to the Point, since its inception in 2005.  She is constantly making sure that industry magazines and websites are kept apprised of our growing product line, as well as keeping our customers informed of new and exciting products.

Marty Ryan, Manufacturing Manager

Marty has over 25 years experience within diverse areas of industry developing new and improving existing manufacturing, engineering and maintenance operations for medium and small companies.

Marty joined Pinpoint Laser Systems in 2010 as the Manufacturing Manager responsible for day to day manufacturing operations, engineering, and purchasing. He has hands-on experience planning, coordinating and overseeing manufacturing activities, including creating robust engineering solutions for tools and fixtures, production floor process improvements, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement programs, and root cause failure analysis, maintaining product and manufacturing documentation.

In addition to an expanding team of employees, Pinpoint has long-term ties with many local manufacturing companies that supply parts, components, and other services.
